Melissa Arnette Elliott better known by the pseudonym of Missy Elliott (Portsmouth, VA, July 1 1971) is a rapper and record producer U.S.. First known as Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott, Elliott took "Misdemeanor" from the name in 2003, several fans refer to her affectionately with Missay.
